SIAS Pillar 01

Curriculum Differentiation Lab

Adapting CAPS content, process and product for every learner.

All programmes
About the programme

A practical, workshop-driven programme that equips teachers with art-infused, multi-modal strategies to differentiate the CAPS curriculum. Educators leave with ready-to-use lesson templates, assessment adaptations and a Universal Design for Learning (UDL) toolkit.

The Curriculum Differentiation Lab pairs every participating teacher with a coach for a full academic year. Coaches model differentiation in-class, co-plan with the educator, and gradually release responsibility as confidence grows.

All materials are mapped directly to CAPS phase outcomes and the SIAS Support Needs Assessment (SNA) forms, so differentiation decisions stay defensible and DBE-aligned.
